It seems impossible for those who grew up in the country, but bees today are endangered. If they become extinct, our Earth has only a few years before plants die as well. What shall everybody eat then? You can help our planet by choosing beeswax products or making a home for bees!

Beeswax products are made of organic cotton infused with natural beeswax, they last for at least a year if you treat them well and give them a regular refresh (search the web for one of the many DIY pages about this). When they do finally wear out, you can turn them into rags, then finally compost them in your garden. Check your local garbage policy for clothes if you don't have a garden.

Hemp Filament, interesting alternative

I've ordered hemp filament from Italy, because I didn't find a possibility to buy it in Germany. I'm interested in biodegradable materials, their printability and sustainability. Made some prints so far, from smaller to larger parts. The material feels lighter than PLA. The paper role fits for the printer. It's a fine product.
Would be interesting what happens if you add 40% of hemp with PLA. Good idea of producing hemp filament.
