"Old Traditions Meet Modern Technology"
Discover the innovative Hemp Filament, a sustainable and versatile material for 3D printing. Made in Italy from locally sourced industrial hemp, this filament combines tradition with cutting-edge technology. Hemp is one of the oldest and strongest natural fibers, and its cultivation is inherently eco-friendly. Industrial hemp requires no pesticides or herbicides and grows denser than corn, contributing to environmental sustainability. This filament is entirely free of artificial colorants, showcasing its natural brown color, which reflects the purity of its composition.
Superior Strength and Aesthetic Excellence
The Hemp Filament surpasses standard bioplastics in both mechanical performance and aesthetic appeal. Its unique wood-like grain patterns add an elegant, natural touch to your 3D printed creations, making it ideal for projects that demand both durability and visual sophistication.
Wide Range of Applications
The adaptability of Hemp Filament makes it suitable for diverse industries, including:
- Agriculture Technology (Agritech)
- Sustainable Packaging
- Automotive Parts
- Aerospace Components
- Drone Manufacturing
- Eco-Friendly Apparel
- Creative and Recreational Products
Environmentally Conscious Innovation
This filament features a natural matrix "A" combined with hemp fiber, forming an advanced biocomposite that serves as a sustainable alternative to traditional materials like polyethylene terephthalate (PET). PET, commonly used in plastic bottles, is harmful to the environment, but Hemp Filament offers an eco-conscious solution.
This biocomposite is also ideal for industrial use, such as coating steel pipes to provide anti-corrosion and insulation properties, which are typically achieved with polypropylene. Its high specific strength and lightweight composition make it suitable for demanding applications in the aeronautics and automotive industries, including car body construction.
Lightweight and Technologically Advanced
The lightweight properties of Hemp Filament make it perfect for the production of advanced technological devices, such as small drones, where weight and strength are critical factors.
Optimized 3D Printing Settings
To ensure the best results, use the following printing parameters:
- Nozzle Size: 0.6–0.4 mm
- Extrusion Temperature: 165–190°C (Higher temperatures create a darker shade of brown.)
- Cooling Fan: OFF
- Printing Speed: Up to 60 mm/sec
- Heated Bed: Not required
- Diameter Tolerance: ± 0.10 mm
Note: These settings are intended as a reference. Adjustments may be needed to optimize performance for your specific printer setup.
Sustainability Meets Cutting-Edge Technology
Hemp Filament represents a groundbreaking advancement in sustainable 3D printing materials. By leveraging the strength and natural beauty of hemp fiber, it offers a high-performance, environmentally friendly solution for professionals and hobbyists alike. Choose Hemp Filament to bring your 3D printing projects to life with a focus on innovation, durability, and sustainability.

Printed the filament with 0,4mm nozzle and worked well. And it smells much better than other filament :)
I've ordered hemp filament from Italy, because I didn't find a possibility to buy it in Germany. I'm interested in biodegradable materials, their printability and sustainability. Made some prints so far, from smaller to larger parts. The material feels lighter than PLA. The paper role fits for the printer. It's a fine product.
Would be interesting what happens if you add 40% of hemp with PLA. Good idea of producing hemp filament.
Dear Arndt, we are very happy to offer our customers accurately selected eco-friendly solutions to their needs!
Thank you for your trust, Say Yes to Life, Earth Thanks!
